Hello, my sit isn’t extravagant, but it is close to major cities and a comfortable stay. What could I do to draw more applicants. This is for a May sit, will I get more attention closer to the date?
Thank you!

Hi @zburnett3
What a lovely initial write up.
The sitters Lisa & Traci’ reviews say Atlanta.
It’s too bad Autum didn’t leave 2 reviews. I ask sitters & home hosts if they will commit to writing a review and mention the new 14 day window.
I’ll be right honest with ya…I would not have the picture of the full front of the house.
I would crop the back yard picture to focus on the patio.
You may want to mention that there are no internal recording devices with the security system.
Add some captions to the house photos to make it more inviting.
You mention driving and public transit. Perhaps clarify…
I am familiar with the area and would say that really… sitters need a car for ease of travel from Worcester and seeing the area.
Overall, lovely listing…and cutie pups!
Thank you, yes we lived in Atlanta and now live in Massachusetts, we move a bit because my husbands Job & the military make us move often. I agree, I request a review but i feel bad hounding them beyond that, I even leave a gift basket upon arival with a note stating how important reviews are on the platform.
I will go ahead and edit with some of the input given, thank you!
Your dogs look adorable. I think this may be harder for you than when you lived in Atlanta, simply because Worcester is much less of a tourist town. My guess is ultimately you’ll either find someone fairly local wanting to get more site reviews, or someone wanting to visit friends or family in your area. If you’ve found any fun things to do nearby – closer than visit Boston or Providence, I’d list them. You might also try for another living room photo. I know it’s smallish room and you’ve got two photos of it. It may be hard to get it at the right angle just showing it as a sitting/hanging out area. Also if there is a good desk area where someone might work from home, show that too.
I think a headline change may help. Chewbaca and Pudge are adorable but maybe you should focus on some of the other draws to this sit in the headline. They sound like they are very easy to take care of and you sound super accomondating. Maybe change it to something that reflect the ease and comfort of the sit.
I think the listing sounds great. But with me it is often the dates that dictate whether i apply or not. If you are open to it, you can say the dates are flexible or offer for the sitter to stay a day before the sit begins or after it ends.
BTW - in responsiblities you mention Chewy and Piper (not Pudge).
