Sweet. We used to visit Zion a lot when we lived in Vegas.
BTW, highly recommend Port Townsend, a historical town in Washington state. You can drive the long way around or take ferries from Seattle.
Back in the day, Port Townsend used to be the single entry point for legally imported goods to be inspected and taxed in the U.S. Because of that, there are a good number of Victorian homes and commercial buildings preserved in town.
In the Western part of Washington state, there’s the largest ferry system in the U.S., because people live scattered across myriad islands and peninsulas.
One of the new adventures for our dog on this trip, we took a car ferry. He was put off by the rumbling ferry engines and the announcements on the public address system at first, but quickly settled in.

In my other life when I would vacation at health spas they would take us there for hikes. Just gorgeous in person.
