Hi there. Happy to virtually meet you all! We only joined the site last week in the hope that we would find sitters for April and August. We have had one response and then nothing from that person since. I was very excited about this site but feel a little deflated. Do you have any recomendations as to how we can widen the advert or promote in any way?
Hi @KimmyMJC and welcome to the forum. If you’d like forum members to give you some feedback on your listing, you can add it to your forum username. I’ll add the instructions below. A forum member may also see it as an ideal sit and apply. 
If you’d prefer, you can just show your dates and location on the forum, so that forum members can search for your listing. They’ll then often give helpful feedback.
You can also search with the spyglass here for lots of help on various topics. It may be that something you’ve been wondering has already been discussed.

Hi we are quite new to having pet sitters and we live in Kent. We might be looking for someone in August, just waiting for things to be confirmed in the next 48 hours.
We go away 4 times a year. We have an ultra modern house with all facilities including hot tub, steam room, Jacuzzi and a beautiful garden.

Hi @KimmyMJC and welcome to the forum. I have just found your listing and your cats and bunny look lovely pets as does your home. The world of sitting has been affected by the pandemic and it is now only just getting back to some form of normality. You’ll read on other threads on the forum that sitters are showing a little hesitancy in applying for sits too far in advance because of changes that can happen at the last minute and sits get cancelled but hopefully this will improve this year. Just have a little patience as you have a lovely listing and there will be sitters who will apply. In the meantime read the Guide to Home Owners on your Dashboard and start preparing your Welcome Guide for your sitter. And enjoy being a member of the forum and THS.
