Hi all! What a cool helpful site for pet owners! I live in North County San Diego which is perfect for exploring this part of Southern California. I am a retired educator who travels mostly for family events, of which there are many and for fun. My partner is a retired sports coach and loves to travel to beaches anywhere. We both love warm and hot weather.
Our need is to find people who love birds- quirky funny and attention seeking parrots. Our girl is 32 years old and can be left alone for hours but when someone is in the house- she must be the center of attention. What is the best way to find that perfect sitter? Thanks for helping us!

I am sure you will find many great sitters on here to care for your quirky parrot, she sounds lovely btw. There are certainly many people on here with experience of parrots and who would be more than happy to give her lots of attention!
Do you have a photo of her that you can share on here? We would love to see. 
Also your location is idyllic being in North County San Diego. An area we certainly love to visit!

This will then enable others to offer you helpful advice and feedback and will also give your listing extra exposure!

I also live in San Diego. I was born and raised here and currently live in the Mission Valley area.
If you’re free today we would love to have you join us at our San Diego TrustedHousesitters event! We are PAWtnering with The Animal Pad dog rescue to celebrate National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day. We will be at Dunedin New Zealand Eats in North Park from 12-4pm and there will be lots of adoptable pups from The Animal Pad joining in on the celebration. There will also be other members at the event that you can chat with to learn more about this amazing community. Hope you can join us!
