We live in the upper NW corner of mainland USA–about 20 minutes from the Canadian border. It is a beautiful area.
We have taken care of friends’ pets over the years and enjoy it and we also love traveling–so when I stumbled upon THS, I was thrilled! It is a great match-making service.
We joined about 2 weeks ago and posted a trip that starts this week and a trip in December. We have already found sitters for both! The only thing that was hard was having to select from our applicants–and turn down some really great people. I hope they will be available at another time. I am excited to find a place to sit in the future, too.

1 year, what a fun party that will be and I love San Francisco, have you been before? I haven’t made it to Napa Valley yet, but it is definitely on my list. Can’t wait to hear about your trip.

We we used to fly out of Bellingham when we lived in Maple Ridge BC and it was our preferred crossing into the States … Have an amazing trip to SF, we are very glad you stumbled onto THS and had a very “comfortable” landing … looking forward to sharing in your new TrustedHousesitters journey and future sitting adventures.
We have been to SF before, but it will be our first time to Napa. We are excited for some wine tastings! It turns out that if you fly out of Santa Rosa airport on Alaska Airlines (and we are), you can add up to a case (12 bottles) of wine to your checked luggage for free
I live in Poulsbo. We did a farm and cat sit near you in Everton last Summer. Bellingham is one of the nicest towns and areas in our beautiful State. The Seattle area probably has more opportunities than any other city on Trusted House Sitters these days. Just returned last week from a semi regular sit on beautiful Orcas Island and next week for Thanksgiving we look after my favorite dog in a waterfront home in Sequim followed by Port Townsend next month. A busy time for us.
