Profile Advice - Struggling to get picked

Hello, I’m looking to see if I’ve missed anything. I’m a detail oriented person with a solid career, I listed the elements of sobriety and monogamy as I personally wouldn’t want someone smoking/partying/hooking up in my home. I completed all the recommended verifications (ID, phone, references) and put up a decent variety of photos. I’m wondering if there’s something I’ve missed or if the language used in my profile is confusing to some.

Cheers
Kyle

Hello, you’ll need to link your listing to your forum bio for us to read and give feedback. Here is a blog I inspired for THS about common mistakes to avoid in your listing. Hope it helps

What pet care experience do you have? Do your photos show you with pets? Please add your sitter profile to your forum profile if you want us to give advice. Good luck!

Are you a sitter or homeowner - or both? Whichever it is, you will get lots of help once you link your profile to your forum profile.

This might sound like an odd question, but have you actually applied to sits? Some new members believe that the HO’s will reach out to them, when it’s actually the other way around.

Hi @KyleStern

Your post is confusing as to whether you are a sitter or a home host?

Are you saying that you are non drinking and monogamous or that you are expecting your sitter to be non drinking and monogamous?

Either way, they are odd characteristics to mention in a THS profile.

Trustworthy, reliable, experienced, pet loving etc are more appropriate traits to have or be asking for.
