TH five star profile question

Hi TH’s,
I wonder if anyone can help me understand how the TH five stars that are attached to your profile work?
We have completed 8 pet sits. 7 reviewed us with 5 stars. The 8th pet sit was unable to leave a review as he didn’t complete it within the 14 days as he was on safari in Africa and had no wifi. He wanted to complete one after he got back home (a family member looked after his pets for the last 3weeks when we finished our pet sit for him) but TH sitter’s system would not allow him to. I contacted TH to see if he could leave a review after the 14 days but they said it wasn’t possible.
Is that why we only have 4/5 stars on our profile?
Any enlightenment would be appreciated please!

That is strange! You should have 5 stars with multiple 5 star reviews. The absent review should not impact your “total score.” I understand why you are concerned. Do you think that perhaps the absent review counted as a ZERO and netted down/skewed your total? That is not how it works.

You should contact THS support to get this corrected.

Thank you for your reply😄. I have been researching and trying to figure this out and I have now narrowed it down to the last pet sit we did I think. We had a great pet sit and a good written review. We received five stars in all the 5 categories BUT at the top by the pet sits name it has 1/5 stars. Not sure if that might be the issue and even how that star up at the top by the pet parent even gets there! I have contacted TH and an awaiting a reply

Yes @VJP , that one star is the problem. Most likely HO accidentally clicked 1 star instead of 5.

To change that, the HO has to write to THS and explain the matter, or they have to write the explanation to you, and you can send screeshots of that to THS.

Accidently hitting the 1* by owners has become quite a common error as the default is set for 1*. This happened to me recently. The owner had tried to change it but could not. With a message to the Help bot, stating “speak to a human”, she was able to have it changed to 5*.
Did you raise the 1* with your owner as I’m sure they would have been mortified? Just ask them to have it changed by THS.
