I read that other sitters have had this problem but as far as I can see no solution. Our last sit got 5 stars on all aspects of our sit but an overall rating of one star. The owner wrote a lovely review so this was a mistake she made. How can I get this fixed? Thank you for your help.
The host who wrote the review has to contact member services - they will fix it but only if the person who wrote the review contacts them

Thank you. I will get in touch straight away!
@Carla
This is the most annoying thing ever. Quite frankly, I am surprised it doesn’t happen more often. Those first-overall stars are long overdue for “improvement”. Knock, knock to the improvement department.
First of all, the whole thing is hardly visible due to the mismatched font color. Then, it’s not very intuitive. But worst of all, a slight hover over the stars can trigger an unintended rating, which—full catastrophe—gets submitted and then … HELP … there is no way to edit it.
I very much agree. It can easily go wrong and it is a time-consuming business getting in touch with the relevant people to put it right. Why have an overall rating anyway, when individual aspects get rated?
Hello @anon47943759 Thank you for tagging me. This was previously discussed on this thread but I am happy to pass the feedback on again. Thank you
@Carla the same thing happened to us recently and the owner had a number of sitters before us. It’s very easy to make this mistake. Maybe suggest to THS they add some instructions like “select 1 to 5 stars as the overall rating for your sitter”
This happened to me twice in two consecutive sittings. I wrote to customers service and they asked for proof, I sent them screenshots of my conversation with the HO and the issue was solved very quickly. I think they got in touch with the HO because her computer was being repaired and she was not confident using her cellphone for that purpose. Anyway it was solved very quickly.
I do think the overall rating should be automatic after adding up all the aspects. If the average is 4.3, then that’s what you get.
No instruction will help. This is caused by the hoverable, messed-up submit button that can be accidentally pushed by heavy-handed user
@anon47943759 Oh man! That font colour! Thank goodness you mentioned it! I thought I was the only one who had difficulty seeing the stars on the screen
Thanks for the link. I followed it but found no clarity or explanation, only instructions that I personally had no use for. Unfortunately, this is one of those things that needs fixing, not discussing. Just a regular submit button would do. 5 sec job
yes, the stars slipping out of one’s grasp happened several times. Why is no community person commenting here? Now it’s a uk holiday weekend but it wasn’t before.
